Common questions

Response, Timing and Booking

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes, genuinely around the clock. Ring in the small hours or over a long weekend and one of our team picks up to hear what's going wrong. We'll have a licensed plumber on the way from there, day or night.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Every day of the year, no exceptions. Plumbing emergencies don't check a calendar, so our on-call team doesn't either. Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, the response and the pricing are exactly the same.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Anything you can't stop yourself, a total loss of hot water, sewage somewhere it shouldn't be, or the faintest gas smell all belong in the urgent basket, while a slow drip or a mildly sluggish drain will usually keep until a normal booking. Unsure either way? Ring anyway and we'll sort out which it is.

How fast can you get here?

We aim for same day wherever we can manage it. Once you've told us what's going on, getting someone moving is the next step, not a queue. The exact timing shifts with what's wrong and how far we're travelling, and we'll be straight with you about that on the call.

Common questions

Money, Quotes and Offers

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

It's $65 taken off your very first booking with us, applied automatically once you get in touch. That's on top of the $0 call-out fee and the number we agree before any work starts.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. It's a $0 call-out fee, and that stays true whether or not you decide to go ahead. Only the work itself is billed, and that number is agreed first.

What payment options do you offer?

Card or bank transfer, whichever you'd rather. Nothing's asked for until the job's actually finished and you've had a chance to check it over.

Is the quote really free?

Yes, always. Coming out to look at the job and putting a number on it costs nothing. Whether you go ahead after that is entirely your call, no pressure attached.

Common questions

Local Answers for Toongabbie

Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?

Yes, alongside the emergency call-outs we're best known for. Toongabbie's had a steady wave of renovations and townhouse infill since the post-war decades, so original pipework and brand-new fit-outs often sit on the very same street, and both are familiar work for us.

What suburbs do you service around Toongabbie?

We cover Toongabbie and the suburbs right next door: Seven Hills, Pendle Hill, Old Toongabbie, Winston Hills and Wentworthville. Any of these, and a plumber's genuinely close by, not driving in from across Sydney.

How local are you, really?

Toongabbie is our home turf, not a suburb we drive in for. We're familiar with the older post-war streets, the newer infill around the station, and everywhere from Fox Hills Golf Club on the western side to Toongabbie Sports Club closer to the centre.

Do you cover the suburbs next to Toongabbie?

Yes. Seven Hills, Pendle Hill, Old Toongabbie, Winston Hills and Wentworthville are all part of our regular coverage, with the same fixed pricing and same-day response as Toongabbie itself.

Common questions

Who's Responsible for What

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

Anything from your house to the boundary of your block is on you. Past that point, where it joins the street main, Sydney Water takes over. Should a blockage sit on their side of that line, we'll say so upfront instead of billing you for work outside our scope.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

Something like a burst pipe is fine to isolate yourself, turn the water off at the meter and wait. Gas work and drain repairs are a different matter, that's licensed territory in this state. When in doubt, call rather than risk it.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

Any repair we finish is covered on the labour side permanently, no fine print attached. Should the same fault show up again through fault of our own work, we're back to sort it and it won't cost you anything.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, NSW plumbing licence #465156C, and full insurance behind every job. Drainage, general plumbing or gas fitting, whoever turns up holds the right ticket for it.
